Georgio's

Our History

George and Helen Koutsoupias migrated to the United States in 1972 with a dream of someday owning a successful restaurant business. George’s goal was, and still remains, to make people happy with delicious home-style meals. George quickly set up shop in Charlotte, North Carolina, and featured his own recipes in the early 1980s at the Alamo Plaza Restaurant. The restaurant was renamed Georgio’s in 1984. As a successful restaurateur in Charlotte, George decided to branch out into Gaston County opening his trademark diner in Cramerton, North Carolina on April 2, 1997.

Georgio's Restaurant is a culinary destination for those looking for amazing service and terrific food, not to mention the down home atmosphere you immediately recognize when you walk in the door. Ask anyone from Cramerton and they'll tell you, Georgio's is the place to be for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We are extremely proud to be a part of this community and thank the people of Cramerton for their continued support over the years. We have definitely found our American dream here in Cramerton!
